Kardashian Dismisses Degrading Sex Act

Kim Kardashian has dismissed reports that her infamous sex tape featured footage of her urinating on ex-boyfriend RAY J.

The release of the tape was halted when Kardashian filed a suit against its sale after the trailers hit the Internet last year.

Armenian beauty insisted that the footage features standard carnal knowledge and nothing else.

But the rumors of her participation in the bold sexual act haven't stopped.

"People were saying derogatory things... I'm not knocking anyone else, but I've never personally participated in that," The Sun quoted Kardashian, as saying.

"I think it's degrading," she added.

Rani has no man in her life now!!!

Rani has no man in her life now!!!

A report in a section of over-imaginative press suggests that Rani is quitting movies after Laga Chunri Mein Daag to get married.
Laughs a source very close to Rani, "The fact is, Rani has signed a new film and is already shooting for it. The film is Kunal Kohli's untitled venture which brings the Hum Tum pair Saif and Rani together again.
Rani has been shooting for the last two weeks and is totally immersed in the project. She has neither the time nor the inclination to get married or to issue periodical denials about the spurt of lies that keep appearing in the tabloids about her."
Continues the source, "The truth is, Rani is already shooting Kunal's film and is on the verge of signing a couple of more projects.
After Laga Chunri Mein Daag where she has one of the toughest author-backed roles of her career as a Brahmin girl who compromises with her morals to support her family, Rani plays an old-fashioned golden-hearted prostitute in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Sawariya."
According Sanjay Bhansali, Rani's turn as the golden-hearted tart is so ebullient and enchanting, Rani is likely to prove the scene-stealer of the show.
As for marriage, Rani has no man in her life right now.
"Rani is too much into her work to think about marriage. She's also getting her two new homes ready and will be moving in soon.
One of those places has wrongly been perceived as her love nest. It's strictly an office to meet producers, trade people and journalists. With her family home now filled with the pitter-patter of her niece's feet, Rani didn't want to bring her work into her home."
As for Kunal Kohli's film, Rani will be joined by her co-star soon.
Says Saif. "I'm currently shooting for Yashraj's Tashan. Rani has already started shooting for Kunal's film. I join them in Novemeber."
Rani quit? Not quite.

The SMS that shook Ram Gopal Varma

Ram Gopal Varma has received innumerable text messages, all ridiculing and berating him for attempting to re-visit Sholay.

"The messages have been pretty vocal and direct about their dislike for what I've done. I've been called names and treated to the nastiest comments. But I've enjoyed the backlash, far more than people enjoyed Aag" laughs Ramu.

Here's the text that Ramu says changed his opinion on his right to remake his favourite film.
(Parts of the message have been revised for coherence)

"Hi Sir. To call Aag a piece of junk would be demeaning junk. What happened to the colours of Rangeela and the grit of Satya? No clear story, meaningless script, obsession with dark lighting, weak screenplay, and songs that are too high-pitched and outdated. You were in a hurry while shooting. Fast editing, nonsensical expressions, no romance, horrifying background music and choreography, cinematography is horrid, bad clothes, bad hoardings, bad amateurish dialogues, bad characterizations with no emotional graph for the characters…leaving the actors free to ham…outdated action, emotionless scenes, no comedy, no colour. You should sit and watch your film alone. No freshness, carelessness in creativity…You've become over-confident and losing touch with reality. You're handing over creative work to the wrong people. You're impulsively doing ten films at a time and not focusing on one project. You've enjoyed the shooting without caring about what the outcome would be. You're busy giving stupid interviews. What have you done in the past seven years except a couple of notable films?"

Says Ramu, "The above message shook me completely. It made me realize it's time for me to do some serious re-thinking about my career."

'Jodhaa Akbar' opts out of Idd race

It’s finally confirmed! All along, there were whispers that JODHAA AKBAR wouldn’t make it in the Idd week [October 12], but UTV was hopeful that the film would hit the screens on the scheduled date. In fact, we did crosscheck with UTV on several occasions and till last week were told to maintain the same date.

But the colossal historical has finally moved ahead. As things stand today, the film would make it in December/January, not before that. Reportedly, a few days shooting is going on currently. “The new release date is yet to be locked,” Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV confirms.

Meanwhile, UTV has preponed the release date of DHAN DHANA DHAN… GOAL. The film was slated for release in December, but will arrive earlier, on October 26. Incidentally, another John Abraham starrer NO SMOKING is also arriving on this date. Will the two John starrers clash with each other, is to be seen.

Now 'Heyy Babyy' in animation

Last week, there was talk that a sequel to HEYY BABYY was being planned by its makers, producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Sajid Khan. However, Sajid Khan had denied the development when this writer called to verify the development. Now here’s the latest on this laughathon…

Reportedly, Nadiadwala has received an offer from an international firm to make the animation version of the film. “I’ve no idea. It’s fine as long as the producer makes money on it,” an ecstatic Sajid Khan tells me. Sajid Nadiadwala is more forthcoming, “Yes, there’re offers. We’re in talks with an international firm,” Nadiadwala states.

With the animation industry opening up in India, it would indeed be interesting to watch the animation version of our successful films, including HEYY BABYY.

Hema Malini in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag

Hema Malini will be seen in Pradeep Sarkar’s forthcoming film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag - Journey of a woman. She has a done a special appearance in the film.

Hema is in fact even seen in the theatrical promo of Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and it seems like she plays the role of a courtesan/dancer in the film.

LCMD stars Rani Mukherjee, Abhishek Bachchan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles.

Photo Feature: Shilpa Shetty plays 'Don'

The image “http://www.greatandhra.com/newsimages/shilpadon1189050526.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

If you think that SRK was not up to the mark as Don in Farhan Akhtar's version, then here’s some news for you. It seems that Shilpa Shetty has taken the responsibility of continuing the ‘Don legacy’ as she plays a lady Don in one of her upcoming films, Shilpa the Big Don.

For quite a while now, there have been reports doing rounds saying that Shilpa was offered a Hollywood film Pink Panther 2 which she didn’t accept. Now take a look at what she has given up the Hollywood flick for. After ‘Big Brother’, one would expect classier choices from Shilpa but tight jeans, garish naval exposing tops and junk jewelry like a dog leash attached from the neck to the belt surely don’t paint a very classy image. The word ‘classy’ probably has a different meaning in her dictionary.

One of the dailies had reported that Shilpa demanded 350,000 pounds for starring in a British film titled Quick, Slip Me a Bride. The producer then had no option but to move on and select another actress. But then looking at the production value of this probably dubbed Hindi film, Shilpa the Big Don, with Shilpa in an action-packed role, we wonder how much they must’ve paid her.

Abhishek in Salman Khan’s footsteps

The image “http://www.greatandhra.com/newsimages/abhishek1189044765.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Looks like AB baby is following in Salman Khan’s footsteps. Sources close to Abhishek reveal that the actor has a new hobby — painting.

Even though he has no immediate plans to take it up seriously, Abhishek apparently visits websites that offer painting classes and even reads books on the topic.

The actor, we are told, will soon paint a canvas for a charity event and show off his newly acquired skills. Such fun!
